PARTNERS

LCWS work closely with a number of partners:
Burnley Bondholder

"The Bondholder Scheme is an innovative and powerful network of organisations who believe what is good for Burnley is good for business. Member organisations contribute financially or in-kind to promoting our town as a place to live, work, visit and invest. Bondholders are passionate about Burnley and believe more of the right people need to know about our world-class aerospace industry; our skilled workforce; our new schools, colleges and university; nationally significant industrial heritage and breathtaking countryside. Burnley Bondholders are not followers… they are leaders."

Lancashare
"Lancashare is an online resource for Lancashire businesses. Our aim is to offer a single online portal for business owners and managers to find support for their organisation. Whether you are thinking of starting or growing your business, extending or training your workforce, winning awards, finding events or increasing sales, being part of the ‘Lancashare’ online community will make the journey easier for you! With up to 50,000 businesses in Lancashire, it makes sense for us to work together to bring prosperity to the county and support to one another. We save you time by bringing you the latest business funding opportunities, details of networking groups and local events all in one place."
Burnley FC in the Community

Burnley FC in the Community is a leading community charity setting up foodbanks. They have a community kitchen educating in healthy living and cooking and run many fundraising events. LCWS have been members of the Friends Of Burnley FC in the Community programme since March 2017. We have taken part in several activities to help the charity such as donating PCs, raising money through a Wear Your Burnley Shirt To Work Day and taking part in a 5 a side football match.

Hive

"The Hive Ambassadors Network launched in autumn 2016, uniting businesses, organisations and individuals across the area in a powerful network to help develop and promote Blackburn and Darwen, challenge perceptions and raise the profile of the area. Building on the momentum created by the Hive Business Leaders Network since 2012, it mobilises organisations to be proactive advocates for the place, with the power to influence how it is marketed, how it is portrayed in the media and events and to get Blackburn and Darwen known and thought about by the people that matter."

Boost

"Founded in 2013, Boost is Lancashire’s £7.8m Growth Hub backed by the ERDF, led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council. Through Boost, businesses from start-ups to large companies can get access to a number of funded programmes in areas such as mentoring, product development, leadership development and finance. Boost can also help businesses navigate the plethora of additional local and national business support programmes to find the support they need to grow."

FEW

Furniture for Education Worldwide (FEW) is a National Charity and was launched in London at the House of Commons in November 2008. The Charity’s aim is to send all the surplus and redundant furniture from school and office renovations here in the UK to some of the world's poorest schools. "Our charity is proud to partner with LCWS in the furtherance of our work with needy schools around the world. The working relationship we have with LCWS has allowed us to provide an important IT element, which is critical to improving the educational opportunities of thousands of children." Keith Bolam, FEW

Our policy team also works hard to make our members’ voices heard at local, regional and national government level.”

LANPAC

"Lancashire Partnership Against Crime (LANPAC) is a unique collaboration between Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire Businesses and Public Services working together to reduce levels of crime and disorder across the county.
